About The Position

Requirements

• IV admixing required
• Previous experience in Oncology preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure and maintain dispensing area, includes refrigerator temperature log and cleanliness of work area such as counters, hood, and stock mixing area.
• Maintain nucleus system and medication inventory through sign out, return, and restock functions includes nucleus reports.
• Order chemotherapy medications calculate vials needed and return medications when applicable to ensure proper inventory pars.
• Prepare chemotherapy labels, calculate volume required to prepare dose, calculate infusion rate, be familiar with regimen name, frequency, and cycle number.
• Compound chemotherapy following mixing guidelines.
