Requirements

• Experienced with PioneerRx and comfortable using it as your primary system for prescription entry, patient profiles, and refill processing.
• Genuinely warm and service-oriented on the phone, bringing patience and professionalism to every call.
• Precise and accurate in data entry, catching own errors before they move forward and verifying every detail before submission.
• Reliable and consistent, showing up on time every day and ready to contribute from the first minute of the shift.
• A real problem solver who takes ownership when something goes wrong and does not pass issues down the chain without resolving them.
• Receptive to feedback and committed to growth, applying corrections immediately and not repeating the same mistake.

Responsibilities

• Own the phones: Answer inbound calls from patients and prescribers with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care, ensuring each caller feels like the most important person.
• Enter prescriptions in PioneerRx with zero-error accuracy, verifying all patient information, drug details, strength, and prescriber data before submission.
• Flag any discrepancy before it moves forward.
• Manage the patient queue: Track prescription status, coordinate with the compounding team on timelines, and proactively communicate updates to patients.
• Handle prescription intake: Receive new prescriptions by phone, fax, and in person, verifying completeness and compliance before routing to the pharmacist.
• Resolve issues with full ownership: Take ownership of patient problems, delays, insurance issues, or questions, find the answer, and follow up.
• Maintain documentation: Keep patient records accurate in PioneerRx, document all interactions per standard operating procedure, and flag any data discrepancy immediately.
