About The Position

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Ability to use a computer; proficiency with Microsoft Office products and ARIZE
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintains a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable
• Ability to handle bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, reaching, and walking for periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds independently

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years previous relevant experience preferred
• Previous experience with adolescent population and psychiatric medicine helpful
• Willingness to be flexible is necessary

Responsibilities

• Ensure a system is in place to meet the physical health needs of all youth, including triage services, direct services, coordination of services, and communication with pertinent individuals.
• Manages medication and prescription acquisition, distribution, and administration, and follows up to ensure proper medication procedure is followed.
• Create and implement training to ensure individual and Region are aware of relevant medical needs of youth.
• Ensure program meets compliance standards for relevant regulating agencies.
• Performs other duties as required, including attending team meetings, completing health assessments for behavioral therapy plans, providing input to SFSA development, creating/implementing policies and procedures, participating in on-call duties/rotation, and maintaining accurate and complete medical records.
