About The Position

Requirements

• NYS certification/registration as a Physician Assistant
• DEA license required
• Able to gain appropriate FFTH privileges

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of ICD10 coding preferred
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 Coding

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care as a Family Physician Assistant
• Provide consistent, high quality care consistent with accepted national and/or community standards
• Collaborate with office staff in development and performance of efficient office practices
• Liaise with practice management and hospital administration on behalf of the practice
• Liaise with staff on behalf of practice management and hospital administration
• Foster a cohesive Thompson identity through CARES values (Commitment, Action, Respect, Excellence, Service)
• Assure regulatory compliance
• Provide patient management and role modeling that unifies practice goals with health system goals
• Act in the best interest of the patient
• Assist the health system in meeting strategic goals
