About The Position

Requirements

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Massachusetts
• Active Massachusetts APRN license
• DEA registration
• Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based principles and practices for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders as defined by the DSM
• Experience providing care through psychotherapy
• Experience providing care through psychopharmacologic treatment
• Demonstrated ability to prescribe psychotropic medications thoughtfully, prioritizing patient safety, therapeutic benefit, and minimization of side effects and drug interactions
• Excellent clinical judgment, planning, and implementation skills
• Strategic and analytical approach to problem-solving
• Working knowledge of data reporting and outcomes analysis
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-based care environment
• Commitment to remaining current with advancements in psychiatric care through ongoing review of literature, professional conferences, and other continuing education opportunities
