About The Position
ISC Structures is hiring a skilled, experienced, and reliable CDL Class A Lowboy Truck Driver. We offer great benefits and a supportive work environment. The candidate must pass pre-employment background and drug tests, possess and maintain a Class A CDL with a clean DMV record, and have a DOT Medical Card. Seeking a driver with paving experience. Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a CDL Class A Lowboy Truck Driver.
- Must possess and maintain a Class A CDL with clean DMV record.
- Must have a DOT Medical Card.
- LOWBED Experience a MUST.
- Transport & ability to operate Heavy Equipment with (5) years of experience.
- Experience hauling oversize loads.
- Experience in paving.
- Ability to safely drive various vehicles.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work OT as needed.
- Must have the ability to work flexible schedule for emergency situations.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Transport of Heavy Equipment: Loading and unloading, proper securement, and transport various types of equipment on trailers to customers job sites.
- Ensure equipment being transported complies with DOT regulations.
- Operate lowboy trailer on sites including off of public highways.
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor.
- Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards, using appropriate PPE.
- Keep accurate records and reports as required including a daily log.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor in the shop area.
