About The Position

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, is actively recruiting for Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner openings to join their Hematology/Oncology team. This role involves working in conjunction with the Hematology/Oncology physician group to manage clinic patients and supervise the infusion suite from Monday to Friday during normal business hours. The position does not require weekend call or inpatient coverage. As part of one of the nation's leading health care organizations, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to higher quality care, improved patient satisfaction, and lower total costs within a multi-specialty clinic setting that includes over 900 medical providers across 65 specialties.

Requirements

  • Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Current Licensure through the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners OR Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board

Nice To Haves

  • Conversationally fluent in Spanish
  • 1+ years prior oncology, ER, or ICU experience preferred but minimal or less than 1 year of prior experience to be considered based on skills, aptitude, and prior work experience.

Responsibilities
