About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in South Dakota

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients in improving independence with daily living skills and functional activities
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Educate patients on exercises, adaptive equipment, and home programs
• Complete accurate documentation
• Support a positive patient experience while helping grow a new outpatient program
