Built on the pillars of convenience, wellness and person-centered care, we offer inpatient and outpatient care at one site, with an emphasis on preventive health, wellness and health education. As our Nursing Student Extern, you will perform delegated duties and provide supportive care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, consistent with your defined role and our policies. Every day you will execute basic patient care tasks (vital signs, blood glucose, I&Os), assist patients with personal care and ADLs, report abnormal findings or changes to the RN, and support unit stocking, cleanliness, and orderliness. To be successful in this role, you will be a nursing student enrolled in an accredited program, demonstrating personal accountability for our mission and core values. Your eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and ability to collaboratively support patient care in a clinical setting are essential.
