About The Position

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to function independently and maturely.
• Ability to read, write, and carry out directions.
• Ability to assemble, maintain, and record data accurately.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the ill.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross; certification will be included in orientation if the candidate does not already have it.

Nice To Haves

• Minnesota CNA certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient-care activities and related non-professional services necessary to meet patients’ personal needs and comfort.
• Perform delegated direct and indirect patient-care tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
