About The Position
Our US Gas Marketing team is looking for a Natural Gas Scheduler to support the daily movement of natural gas across multiple interstate and intrastate pipeline systems. This role is a great opportunity for someone early in their scheduling career who wants to learn the commercial side of gas markets, transportation, storage optimization, and trading support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2-5 years of natural gas scheduling, pipeline operations, energy trading support, or related experience.
- Understanding of pipeline nominations, confirmations, storage, and balancing activities.
- Experience working with EBB systems and energy trading platforms preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Natural gas scheduling exposure.
- Knowledge of North American pipeline operations and transportation contracts.
- Experience with ETRM systems (e.g., Endur).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Responsibilities
- Execute daily nominations, confirmations, and scheduling transactions on natural gas pipelines.
- Monitor pipeline capacity, constraints, maintenance notices, and operational changes.
- Track physical gas movements, storage activity, and imbalance positions.
- Coordinate with pipeline operators, customers, traders, accounting, and operations teams.
- Support transportation contract administration and asset utilization.
- Ensure internal systems accurately reflect physical gas activity.
- Assist with month-end balancing and reconciliation activities.
- Help identify operational risks and scheduling opportunities.
