About The Position
Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Travel MRI Tech for a 13-week contract position in Pittsfield, MA. This full-time, temporary travel role is in the Imaging Department and requires the technologist to work nights, specifically from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, for 8-hour shifts. The schedule guarantees 40 hours per week, with 5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, and no weekends. On-call duties may be required as needed. The gross weekly pay is $3200, based on a 48-hour work week, which includes non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipends for eligible travelers. The position involves performing a wide variety of technical MRI procedures, operating MRI machines to create detailed internal body images, preparing patients, ensuring safety, and practicing infection control. The technologist will work alongside another Tech Aide or MRI Tech and will never work solo.
Requirements
- Current MRI Tech experience: 2 years
- GE Equipment experience
- ARRT (MR)
- BLS Certification from AHA
- Must have own transportation

Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of technical MRI procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity.
- Operates magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines to create detailed images of the body’s internal structures.
- Preparing patients for scans, operating equipment, and ensuring patient safety during the process.
- Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
