Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair conveyor systems, automated material handling equipment, and related facility systems to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, and associated equipment.
  • Execute production line and conveyor changeovers, equipment setups, adjustments, and testing to support operational requirements.
  • Utilize the CMMS to document repairs, preventive maintenance activities, labor hours, parts usage, and equipment history.
  • Generate and manage work orders, requisition replacement parts, and coordinate materials needed to complete repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and assist with PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, VFDs, photo eyes, and automated controls.
  • Support maintenance and operation of automated systems, including Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) where applicable.
  • Fabricate, modify, rebuild, and install mechanical components as required to maintain equipment reliability.
  • Conduct inspections and identify opportunities for equipment improvements, reliability enhancements, and downtime reduction.
  • Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and regulatory requirements while performing maintenance activities.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance situations and provide on-call support during nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
  • Collaborate with operations personnel, contractors, and other maintenance team members to ensure efficient equipment performance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
