About The Position

This position will be responsible for the setup/tear down of the grinder and all the equipment necessary for processing. We create quality products in a safe environment for our team members. Benefits Effective Day 1!

Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with rapid hand and eye coordination to move product on a conveyor and/or other processing equipment.
  • Ability and willingness to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.
  • Ability and willingness to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level 20 pounds or greater frequently.
  • Ability and willingness to lift/lower/carry up to 20 pounds or greater with back and legs.
  • Ability and willingness to stand/walk/climb/bend for up to 10 hours.
  • Ability and willingness to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at 35 degrees

Responsibilities

  • Setup/tear down all equipment.
  • Operate forklifts and process equipment.
  • Add proper amount of ingredients to blends and for correcting batching of meat materials
  • Safe handling of all material.
  • Load product onto trucks.
  • Empty and wash vats.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork within the department.
  • Keep the floor and work area clean at all times to include general housekeeping duties.
  • Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
  • Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
  • Perform any other work as assigned by management.
  • Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a tow motor certification.
  • Ability and willingness to scan or input into computer system, all product film, boxes, casings, clips, and ingredients for all daily product runs, including change overs.
  • Ability and willingness to follow formulations on computer and accurately record and report food safety or product information.
