About The Position

The Corrugator Material Handler is responsible for operating lift trucks safely and effectively. This role involves learning which production line to send product through, understanding strapping patterns, and ensuring loads are properly strapped with appropriate dunnage according to instructions and customer-specific requests. The handler will also be responsible for loading strapping onto the machine, cleaning heads, monitoring loads for box issues, and reporting any problems to the supervisor. Additionally, lift truck operators must complete daily safety checklists, change propane tanks, check fluid and air filters on their lift trucks, monitor the take-off line, follow strapping processes, and load material onto designated trucks, maintaining records of load tallies. The position also includes transporting product from the take-off line to warehouse areas, loading warehoused product to the loading dock, receiving incoming product, signing for receipts, and transporting it to different departments. Proper paperwork must always be submitted to the shipping office. The Corrugator Material Handler will rotate through the strapper position, take-off line lift truck, and floor driver lift truck operations.

  • Receive product from incoming trucks, sign for the receipt of it, and transport to different departments.
  • Turn in proper paperwork to the shipping office.
  • Rotate amongst the strapper position, take-off line lift truck, and floor driver lift truck operation procedures.
