About The Position

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, with medical device manufacturing preferred.
• Understanding of welding or brazing technologies.
• Understanding of tooling design for use in welding/brazing applications.
• Understanding of automation of welding/brazing.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, preferred.
• Self-motivated, driven engineer with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Great written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Induction brazing/TIG/MIG process experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Production support for large industrial superconducting MRI magnets.
• Interface with production management, quality engineering, design engineering, supplier quality engineering, and production technicians.
• Develop a wide range of engineering skills in a medical device environment.
• Root cause analysis of production process failures.
• Troubleshooting production equipment issues.
• Process validation documentation including PFMEA, IQ, TMV, OQ/PQ.
• Statistical analysis of process data.
• Tooling and fixture design.
• Understanding of geometric dimension and tolerancing on mechanical drawings.
