About The Position

Requirements

• Formal training which will probably be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited LPN school of nursing
• Current State licensure
• Current CPR certification
• One of more years of experience in ambulatory care
• Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Ability to work compatibly with physicians, other department members, and employees in other department.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct or indirect nursing care to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problem; utilizes knowledge or basic nursing principles, practices and ethics.
• Charting
• Metrics
• Perform miscellaneous delegated duties under the supervision of the Office Manager and or physician
• Assists in examination and treatment of patients.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, also gives injections to patients and records information on patients chart or EMR.
