About The Position

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the respective state in which he/she is employed is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of progressive experience in and assisted living or skilled care community or related experience is required.
• Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

• Experience providing care in a skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, assisted living, or post-acute setting is preferred.
• Experience with resident assessments, care planning, medication administration, and clinical documentation is preferred.
• Experience supervising or collaborating with nursing assistants and interdisciplinary care teams is preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention practices, regulatory compliance standards, and person-centered care principles is preferred.
• Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred.

• Assure the residents are cared for mentally, spiritually and in health.
• Ensure the residents are safe and free from pain or abuse and treated with dignity and respect.
