About The Position

Recovery Works NW is seeking a Part-Time Detox Nurse (LPN or RN) for their 16-bed, home-style medically managed withdrawal management facility. The role involves keeping patients safe and supported through assessment, medication administration, withdrawal monitoring, documentation, and emergency response. The facility is described as having a more personal environment than larger facilities, with approachable leadership, a supportive team, and good staffing support. The work is described as meaningful, focusing on patients in early recovery.

Requirements

  • Current Oregon LPN or RN license
  • Direct patient care experience required
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Current BLS, or willingness to obtain via company-paid class within 6 weeks of hire
  • Position is contingent on passing an OHA Background check and successful completion of a urine analysis (UA) after accepting job offer

Nice To Haves

  • Detox, behavioral health, or substance use treatment experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients and assess withdrawal symptoms
  • Administer medications and monitor patient response
  • Document patient status, vital signs, and condition changes
  • Respond to medical concerns and emergencies
  • Collaborate with providers, counselors, and nursing assistant staff
  • Help ensure safe, compassionate care throughout detox
