About The Position

They provide comprehensive behavioral healthcare services, including psychiatry, addiction recovery, and mental disorder treatment, to help clients reclaim health and well-being. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays an essential role in the delivery of treatment at Pyramid Healthcare, primarily providing direct nursing services to clients in adult substance-use disorder and/or mental health treatment.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in Pennsylvania.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques.
- Awareness and understanding of regulating bodies (CARF, Office of Mental Health, DDAP, RTFA).
Responsibilities
- Maintain a 1:10 ratio for detox clients.
- Complete initial Nursing Assessments with new admissions, as applicable.
- Administer medications to clients.
- Apply knowledge and delivery of detox protocols.
- Perform COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol.
- Provide medication education to clients.
- Coordinate and support Medical providers with assessments and medication management appointments.
- Maintain medical equipment in proper working order; maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
