About The Position

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Active California Registered Nurse license, or ability to obtain upon hire
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Current NRP certification through the American Academy of Pediatrics
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience
• Minimum of one year of Labor and Delivery RN experience in an acute care hospital setting strongly preferred
• Ability to work full-time 12-hour day or night shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate Obstetrics and Labor and Delivery nursing care in an acute care hospital setting
• Support patients and families throughout the childbirth experience
• Apply clinical judgment, communication, and specialty nursing skills in a fast-paced care environment
• Partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, coordinated care
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and support evidence-based nursing interventions
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Contribute to a culture focused on safety, respect, teamwork, and exceptional patient experience
