Requirements

• Previous experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or marine environment.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines.
• Excellent attention to detail for identifying defects and inconsistencies in parts and components.
• Ability to meticulously document inspection findings and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Examine and measure boat parts and components to ensure they meet specified standards and tolerances.
• Use precision tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines, to verify dimensions and detect defects or inconsistencies.
• Meticulously document inspection findings and maintain accurate records of quality checks.
• Maintain cleanliness, ensure safety compliance to include PPE adherence, safety policy adherence, and safe behaviors and conditions.
• Always work safely and report all hazards to their supervisor immediately.
• Understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies.
• Wear required personal protective equipment where designated, including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.
