About The Position
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking a Quality Inspector for our 2nd shift weekend schedule (Friday-Sunday 5pm-5:30am) at our Springboro, OH Facility. Requirements
- Must be self-motivated, self-directed and possess leadership qualities.
- Must have a good attendance record.
- Previous Quality inspection a must.
- Highly knowledgeable in the use of various types of gages, micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Has intermediate or advanced knowledge of quality control procedures.
- Has intermediate or advanced understanding of containment and quarantine procedures and NCM procedures.
- Must be able to utilize basic math skills.
- Must be able to communicate with operations, management and DCMA.
- Must be able to use computer and email for data entry.
- Must be able to communicate with management and other personnel.
- High School diploma/GED required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a manufacturing environment as plus.
- Quality experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Responsibilities
- In process inspection for our manufacturing processes.
- Monitor production operations to ensure they meet documented standards.
- Ensure all EHS compliance is met.
