About The Position
Ensure that guests are given a warm welcome by Team OMB. This role involves welcoming guests upon arrival, maintaining a positive and friendly attitude, managing the seating chart for efficient guest flow and optimal table turnover, keeping track of the guest wait list and assigning tables, communicating wait times, assisting guests with takeout, beer-to-go, and merchandise orders, answering phone calls and inquiries, recording and managing reservations, communicating effectively with management and the culinary team, providing exceptional customer service, assisting guests with special requests, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area, familiarizing yourself with the menu, and promoting ongoing promotions, events, or loyalty programs.

Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival
- Maintain a positive and friendly attitude to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage the seating chart to ensure an efficient flow of guests and optimal table turnover
- Keep track of guest wait list and assign tables as they become open
- Communicate wait times and delays to guests
- Assist guests with takeout orders, beer-to-go orders, and merchandise orders
- Answer phone calls and inquiries regarding hours and service
- Record and manage reservations for larger groups to maximize seating capacity
- Communicate effectively with management, culinary team, and server to ensure a smooth dining experience
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand, menus, and dining area
- Familiarize yourself with OMB’s menu and make recommendations
- Promote ongoing promotions, events, or loyalty programs to guests
