About The Position
801 Fish St. Louis is hiring for a Host! This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) front of the house (FOH) position working in a team-oriented, high-volume / fast-paced, guest-centric environment with the highest quality food & drink.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years host experience in a fast-paced, high-end / fine dining establishment.
- Availability to work any day of the week, including evenings, weekends & some holidays.
- Knowledge of, and ability to work within, OpenTable and other computer systems.
- High-energy, detail-oriented professional who enjoys interacting with the public.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to maintain focus/memory of information received.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong sense of hospitality.
- Communicate clearly (in person or via telephone) while demonstrating warmth & professionalism to guests in a busy, fast-paced / high-stress environment.
- Maintain regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
- Work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of time.
- Lift up to 30lbs.
- Bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb and twist.
