Empire Parking Lot Services, Southern California's fastest-growing paving contractor, is hiring an Entry-Level General Laborer. Based in Orange, CA, with a reach across the entire SoCal area, this role is an opportunity to kickstart your career in the paving industry. Requirements
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 90 lbs, climbing on vehicles, and working in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to work overtime/weekends as required.
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements and have an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to produce quality work.
- Applicants must be able to perform essential duties safely and effectively; accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
Nice To Haves
- 1-year experience is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Job site preparation.
- In charge of appropriate traffic control at job sites (signs, barricades, caution tape).
- Use blowers, brooms, shovels, and a variety of other hand tools to ensure a clean surface before recoating.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and organized job site.
