About The Position

1-800 WATER DAMAGE of McKinney and Frisco is looking for a motivated General Tech/Labor team member to join our growing restoration crew! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, and other property damage. Requirements

No prior restoration experience required — on-the-job training provided
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Ability to perform physical labor including lifting 25-75+ lbs and working in tight or confined spaces
Strong work ethic with a positive, team-first attitude
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly demeanor

Nice To Haves

IICRC certification a plus, but not required - opportunity to advance and become certified!!

Responsibilities

Assist with water damage mitigation, drying, and extraction on residential and commercial job sites
Assist with Setting up, monitor, and break down drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters and other various items/tools
Perform demolition tasks such as removing damaged drywall, flooring, and insulation(can also include tile, framing, cabinets, stairs etc)
Load, unload, and maintain restoration equipment and company vehicles(solo or assiting other team members)
Follow safety protocols and industry standards on every job site(must be able to read and understand SOP's)
Assist lead technicians with mold remediation and fire/smoke cleanup as needed
Maintain a clean, organized work environment on all job sites
