About The Position

Structis - Minnesota is hiring construction laborers to support the installation of gypsum- and concrete-based floor products on commercial projects. Work includes helping with sound control, resurfacing, moisture emissions, deep-fill, and related projects. Employees may work at local project sites and occasionally travel overnight to sites in surrounding states. The role involves operating and assisting with mixing and pouring equipment, finishing poured Gypcrete floors, transporting supplies, and supporting other crew members. Requirements

• Know how to use basic hand tools.
• Have basic knowledge of reading a tape measure.
• Be hard-working and goal-oriented.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Be able to drive a personal vehicle to various local project sites.
• Be open to occasional overnight travel to project sites in surrounding states.
• Be able to multitask.
• Be comfortable working in varying temperature environments as required.
• Be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 80 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous construction experience.
• Previous experience working on a concrete crew.

Responsibilities

• Break open bags of Gypcrete and pour the material into a mixer.
• Set up the pouring hose and connect it to the mixer.
• Operate a Bobcat to move sand into the mixer.
• Finish poured Gypcrete floors.
• Carry supplies onto job sites.
• Pick up or deliver supplies as needed.
• Assist other crew members as necessary.
• Use small tools and perform basic equipment repairs.
