About The Position
WSI is currently seeking Material Handlers/Forklift Operators with opportunity for growth in Mount Vernon, IN. Join now and receive a $1500 Sign On Bonus! You have the ability to be at $17.00/hour by the end of your first year! Shifts available: Rotating: 7 evenings, off 2, 6 midnights, off 2, 7 days, off 4. Overtime required.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
- Must be reliable and safety-minded
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail
- Forklift certified or able to obtain certification
- Ability to operate material handling equipment
- Willing and eager to learn
- Solid work history
- Pass pre-employment background
- Pass post offer drug screen/physical
Responsibilities
- Operates material handling equipment as required to receive, store, process orders, and ship material.
- Performs receiving and shipping inspections and identifies all incoming and outgoing material shipments to determine: a) quantity is as ordered b) no damage is apparent, and c) documentation is available as required.
- Performs physical material inventories to establish, maintain, and document the receipt, shipment and control of sample inventories.
