About The Position

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D modeling software is required.
• Strong focus on accuracy and good communication in all tasks.
• Full-time, with occasional Saturday overtime as needed, adherence to attendance and company policies.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Commitment to reliable work with a high standard of accuracy in drawings and specifications.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical Engineering or equivalent majors will be strongly considered.
• Supplemental experience in 2D AutoCAD is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with basic machining practices and materials is a plus, as is general mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Generate assembly and layout drawings of equipment in a fast-paced work environment.
• Generate shop detail prints.
• Generate and nest flat pattern work for laser cutting.
• Work within ERP system to generate BOMs and Routes for production through the shop
• Communication with Planning and Production Control will be key
• Work with project engineers and other departments to meet deadlines on projects.
• Work safely and wear all required PPE for the duration of time in safety-sensitive area.
