About The Position
Supports operations in performing routine vehicle maintenance on equipment including diesel trucks and trailers. Locates sources of problems by inspecting, observing and knowledge and completes needed maintenance in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Ability to work overtime during the week or on weekends.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write and perform basic math.
- Resourceful, well organized and dependable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High School or Equivalent
- Verbal comprehension: Understand oral and written communications, both general and technical.
- Communication skills: Provide clear instructions/directions.
- Reasoning skills: Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Time Management: Values time and manages time effectively. Effectively prioritizes and can manage a broad range of activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform needed maintenance on equipment
- Maintain sanitation and housekeeping in work area
- Fueling equipment as needed
- Additional duties as assigned.
