About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our fast-paced Fleet Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our commercial fleet to ensure maximum reliability and safety on the road—working in a comfortable, air-conditioned shop with standard weekday hours. Whether you are an experienced technician looking to advance your career or an ambitious entry-level mechanic with a solid foundation in tools and basic mechanical knowledge, we encourage you to apply. Requirements

• Basic understanding of diesel engine mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and general tool usage.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and follow diagnostic flowcharts.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs, stand for long periods, and maneuver in shop settings.
• Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

• Commercial Driver’s License / CDL is a plus.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience performing diesel mechanics, fleet service maintenance, or heavy equipment repair.
• Successful completion of a diesel technology/vocational program OR equivalent hands-on experience in automotive/equipment repair with solid basic mechanical knowledge.
• ASE Certifications (Diesel/Medium-Heavy Truck) or CDL Class A/B preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance (PMs), fluid changes, brake inspections, and safety checks on fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on diesel equipment and heavy vehicles.
• Conduct engine diagnostics, oil sample testing, and component replacements as needed.
• Maintain clean, detailed service logs and work orders for all performed repairs.
• Operate shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and lifting devices safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with OSHA and company standards.
