About The Position
Neighborhood Health Centers of the Lehigh Valley is looking to add an experienced, full or part-time Dentist to our growing Dental Department. If you love working with a great team of professionals and serving the community, this could be a great opportunity for you!
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited dental school.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain appropriate clinical privileges.
- Unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Current CPR (BLS) certifications.
- PA DPS and DEA registrations.
- Medicare and PA Medicaid provider numbers.
- Credentialing, employment clearances and vaccinations are required.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of an accredited general practice residency program.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
- Ability to be clinically fluent in Spanish.
- Knowledge of public health principles and practices.
- Hospital privileges.
- ACLS certification.
- Bi-Lingual in Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive knowledge of primary dental care in outpatient settings.
- Apply principles and practice of modern dentistry as related to public health organizations and community health programs.
- Address current social and economic problems pertaining to public health and their impact on primary health care.
- Maintain appropriate clinical privileges.
- Obtain FTCA coverage or private professional malpractice insurance.
