About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Business or administrative experience in a dental office preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Comfortable learning and utilizing dental practice management systems and office software

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and create a welcoming, positive experience
• Manage incoming calls and schedule patient appointments
• Manage the daily schedule and support efficient patient flow
• Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients
• Process payments, copays, and outstanding balances
• Provide patients with accurate treatment cost estimates and financial information
• Assist with billing, coding, and insurance claim submissions
• Communicate treatment plans and financial information clearly and professionally
• Address and resolve patient questions and concerns professionally, escalating to the Office Manager when appropriate
• Order and restock office supplies as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth and efficient patient care
• Support additional administrative and operational needs of the practice as needed
