$40 - $50Onsite

About The Position

At Dr. Chandra R. Williams Family Dentistry, our goal is to offer the absolute best dental care to our patients in a welcoming, comfortable, and up-to-date environment. Operating out of a high-functioning 5-operatory facility (including 2 dedicated hygiene ops) with 1 doctor and a close-knit 6-member team, we focus heavily on patient experience, clinical excellence, and daily team alignment. As part of the American Dental Companies network, we couple a supportive local culture with the operational structure, clear systems, and growth opportunities of a larger organization. We operate with a strict focus on three core pillars: Patient Care, Employee Care, and Business Care. We are seeking a high-caliber, growth-minded Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) who does more than just complete appointments. Our ideal candidate is someone who builds deep trust, seamlessly educates patients on the oral-systemic connection, identifies clinical needs, and confidently supports the doctor's diagnoses. If you take extreme ownership of your schedule, your patient relationships, and your clinical standards, you will thrive in our structured, goal-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Georgia (in good standing).
  • Strong clinical skills with a deep understanding of periodontal therapy and a commitment to high-quality care.
  • Ability to educate patients in a clear, supportive, and professional manner while maintaining a team-first mindset and positive attitude.
  • Superior accuracy regarding charting, administrative notes, and compliance.
  • Comfort working in a structured environment focused on hygiene production, perio treatment acceptance, and proactive recare scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing (SRP), and adjunctive services.
  • Perform accurate periodontal charting, radiographs, and intraoral photos. Thoroughly review medical histories to identify health risk factors. Complete clinical notes efficiently in Dentacon/Practice Management System.
  • Educate patients on periodontal disease, home care, and preventive options (fluoride, sealants, night guards). Clearly communicate clinical findings to the doctor.
  • Support comprehensive patient care by identifying treatment opportunities, reinforcing doctor recommendations, and ensuring every patient leaves with their next recare appointment scheduled.
  • Active participation in morning huddles to review hygiene production goals, perio opportunities, and schedule flow. Coordinate smoothly with the Assistant, Patient Care Advocate, Schedule Flow Coordinator, and Practice Success Manager.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, well-stocked, and organized hygiene operatory.
