About The Position
Come and join our warm and friendly dynamic team at Hampton Ridge Healthcare. We are looking for an experienced Full-time Cook in our Dietary Department. We offer medical, dental, vision and matched 401k and PTO.
Requirements
- Ability to work as a team player in a professional manner
- Proven experience
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Nice To Haves
- Preferred knowledge of diet textures such as chop, ground and purees
- Will train if needed
- Serv Safe certification
Responsibilities
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow the food service director
- Able to understand the production sheets and diets
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously in high quality and in timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
