The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility located in beautiful Hanson, Kentucky that is committed to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity and providing compassionate care. Make a lasting impression on our Veterans assisting them by: Performs general cooking duties Mixes and cooks specialty dishes and delicate foods Mains records of food used and supply on hand Mains dietary work areas, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition Insures proper storage of food The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to meet our commitment to serving Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering Independence, preserving Dignity, and providing Compassionate Care. This position, in Hopkins county has an approved Locality Premium of $4.88 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(1). This job classification is approved for the following shift premiums, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(2), which are applied to the base salary: Second and Third shift: 15% Weekend and Holidays: 25%
