About The Position
The Cook is responsible for preparing food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Head Cook and/or Director of Food Services, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times. At CareOne, we believe in making the dining experience both healthy and enjoyable for our residents through our signature dining program, which includes personalized menu choices, tableside cooking and so much more…all that’s missing is YOU! Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Strong customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility, preferred
