About The Position
Valiant Solutions is seeking a Top Secret Cleared Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to join our rapidly growing and innovative cybersecurity team! As a Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer, you will work together as a team to support innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment and disposal of user facing and data center information technology (IT) services on multiple networks and security domains. This position is 100% onsite in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5-8 years Developer experience.
- Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA.
Nice To Haves
- Experience deploying and managing RedHat Open Shift in a cloud and/or vSphere environment.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Python, Shell scripting, Git.
- Linux distributions: RHEL/RHCOS, CentOS.
- CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins.
- Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general.
Responsibilities
- Supports OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps.
- Deploys OpenShift to new sites as they come online.
- Works with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them.
- Works with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions.
- Supports data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack.
- Compiles detailed documentation.
