About The Position

This position monitors the budget and related fiscal operations to ensure adequate support for current and planned program operations. Requirements

  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Ability to understand state and federal rules and regulations related to fiscal and budgetary management.
  • Skill and understanding of budgets.
  • Meet minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or a related field.
  • Two years of job-related experience in finance, auditing, or accounting.
  • Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining budget systems, policies, and methods for programs to follow
  • Oversee and coordinate the preparation and submission of grant applications to attain funding for public health
  • Oversee and review the development, monitoring, and management of contracts for goods and services to ensure project outcomes are met within budget and regulatory constraints.
