The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team providing direct care to behavioral health patients under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse, either in person or by telephone. The role focuses on direct patient care as directed and delegated by the RN, Lead PCT, Operation Supervisor, Operations Administrator, or Program Manager. The PCT is also responsible for the safety of the assigned unit, including identifying environmental and patient-specific safety concerns and elevating them to the RN, RN Manager, Operations Supervisor, or designee as needed.
