Requirements

• Previous serving experience preferred, ideally in an upscale casual, private club, or full-service restaurant environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in food, wine, and beverage knowledge.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special club events.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly, and professional service to members and guests throughout their dining experience.
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized hospitality.
• Build relationships with members while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, involving management when appropriate.
• Guide guests through menu selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders using the club's POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages according to club service standards.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of menu offerings, ingredients, daily features, and preparation methods.
• Present and recommend wines, cocktails, and specialty beverages with confidence.
• Execute bottle wine service according to club standards.
• Ensure tables are properly maintained throughout service.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address needs.
• Collaborate with server assistants, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain clean and organized service stations throughout each shift.
• Complete opening, closing, and side work responsibilities.
• Support fellow team members during busy service periods.
• Uphold all club service standards, policies, and procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture.
• Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times.
