About The Position

Under the direction of the Banquet Manager, this Team Member's duties include serving VIP guests, ensuring a positive guest experience, while maintaining the extraordinary service standards of Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. Interact and service VIP guests in a cordial and gracious manner, thereby creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere utilizing the guest’s name when possible to build rapport and create a memorable experience building guest loyalty. The ability to handle extra duties as assigned by management to ensure VIP guests receive a superior level of service. Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness to the bar area, as well as serving guests and servers according to established policies. This individual must project a professional appearance and demeanor while presenting an image of excitement, enthusiasm and fun, to provide our guests with the ultimate entertainment experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Certificate in Mixology.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in high volume bartending.
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.
  • Must have ability to balance cash drawer at end of shift.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, and taste or smell.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Interact and service VIP guests in a cordial and gracious manner, thereby creating a friendly, relaxed atmosphere utilizing the guest’s name when possible to build rapport and create a memorable experience building guest loyalty.
  • Handle extra duties as assigned by management to ensure VIP guests receives a superior level of service.
  • Treat Guests with a sense of caring and individuality while effectively identifying their specific needs.
  • Inform Supervisor of Guest needs which may require special accommodations.
  • Show special recognition of frequent Guests.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for Guests at all times.
  • Consistently welcome Guests, thank them for their patronage, seek ways to make them comfortable and express the desire to have them return.
  • Present a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance at all times.
  • Maintain constant awareness of services, promotions, and events offered at the facility and inform Guests.
  • Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness to the bar area, as well as serving guests and servers according to established policies.
