Assistant Video Editor Jobs

About The Position

Requirements

• 1–2 years of hands-on video editing or post-production experience; internships and freelance work are welcome.
• Deep working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, including project organization, proxy workflows, and shortcut-driven editing.
• Deep understanding of video codecs, file formats, frame rates, aspect ratios, and post-production workflows.
• Excellent organizational skills, including managing project directories, naming conventions, and version control.
• A strong visual eye for color, makeup application, skin tones, and beauty trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Cloud applications, specifically After Effects.
• Basic understanding of color correction and audio mixing.
• Prior experience editing content for retail, fashion, lifestyle, or cosmetics brands.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, sync, and organize raw footage; synchronize audio, generate proxies, and manage post-production assets across storage systems.
• Build initial sequences, rough cuts, and assembly edits for marketing campaigns, product launches, and social media channels.
• Reformat and optimize master edits for platform specifications, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, and digital ads.
• Prepare final project files, clean timelines, organize assets, and export deliverables for color grading, sound design, and localization.
• Work with creative directors and lead editors to apply feedback systematically and maintain a consistent brand aesthetic.
