Chief Video Editor | Titan TV | Student Assistant
About The Position
Under direct supervision, the student assistants will be responsible for assisting staff with editing video projects and segments for television shows and programs, and preparing programs for cable-channel and YouTube distribution. They will communicate with the producer and director to secure all necessary assets for post-production, and ensure all projects meet video-quality, audio, and graphics guidelines. The role requires working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and maintaining excellent organizational standards, utilizing Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Motion for digital video editing.
Requirements
- Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
- Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
- In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
- Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
- Ability to learn and perform assigned work
- Follow oral instructions
- Work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students
- Communicate effectively with all levels
- Read and write English at a level appropriate to the position
Nice To Haves
- Basic experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Motion is encouraged.
