About The Position

We are hiring immediately for an Aircraft Parts Painter. You can expect to prepare and spray paint a variety of aircraft parts.

Requirements

  • High School education, GED, or a Bronze Level WorkKeys certification is required.
  • Experience using polyurethane, Hexamine chromium, and various types of paint is helpful.
  • Attention to detail and ability to read paint (i.e. wet, dry, blotchy) is helpful to ensure efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and spray paint a variety of aircraft parts.
  • Check parts to ensure they are clean and not damaged before hand-sanding the surfaces for a smooth surface before masking and priming.
  • Select and adjust spray gun per the instructions while mixing paint according to the specifications.
  • Use painting techniques (i.e. Spray paint, dip paint) to coat all crevices of aircraft parts with primer or paint based on specifications.
  • Carefully inspect parts to ensure no dirt, dust, or other foreign objects appear in paintwork before baking in oven.
