Z-Dock Supervisor

About The Position

The Z-Dock Supervisor leads, motivates, trains, and supports warehouse personnel to ensure efficient shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution while protecting warehouse inventory against loss. The role supervises general warehouse operations, schedules inbound and outbound arrivals, maintains a presence on the dock to inspect work, and enforces company policies and procedures. The supervisor also supports warehouse tasks as needed, including loading, unloading, deluxing, and minor furniture repairs. The role manages inventory valued at more than $2.5 million and uses production tools to measure employee productivity. It supervises up to 3–10 employees and requires up to 5% travel. The schedule is 40 hours per week.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 4–6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Understanding of safe methods and procedures for receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping, and delivery.
Basic knowledge of inventory procedures.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to travel up to 5%.

Nice To Haves
