Youth Tennis Coach
About The Position
Euro School of Tennis is hiring friendly and reliable coaches to teach beginner-level tennis to children in Grades K–3 at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Training, lesson plans, equipment, and coaching support are provided. Classes generally last 1–1.5 hours and may begin between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The source ad lists approximately 2–5 hours of work weekly and prefers availability on two or more days per week. This is a part-time, in-person opportunity. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Must be 19 years or older.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Be reliable, positive, and willing to learn.
- Have good communication and classroom management skills.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be able to complete a background check and meet vaccination requirements.
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is listed as the education requirement.
Nice To Haves
- Tennis playing or coaching experience is preferred.
- Availability on two or more days per week is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach fun and engaging beginner tennis lessons to children in Grades K–3.
- Manage groups of 8–10 children.
- Set up equipment and take attendance.
- Keep classes safe, active, and enjoyable.
- Communicate with parents and school staff.
