About The Position

Euro School of Tennis is hiring friendly and reliable Tennis Coaches to teach beginner-level tennis to children in Grades K–3 at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Training, lesson plans, and equipment are provided. Classes are generally 1–1.5 hours long and may begin between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Two or more days per week are preferred; the posting lists approximately 2–5 hours weekly. Coaches manage groups of 8–10 children in after-school programs and up to 8 students in clinics. This is an in-person, part-time position paying $18.00–$24.00 per hour. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Must be 19 years or older.
Enjoys working with children.
Reliable, positive, and willing to learn.
Good communication and classroom management skills.
Has reliable transportation.
Able to complete a background check and meet vaccination requirements.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Tennis playing or coaching experience preferred.
USPTA/PTR certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Teach fun and engaging tennis lessons.
Set up equipment and take attendance.
Keep classes safe, active, and enjoyable.
Communicate with parents and school staff.
