About The Position

Euro School of Tennis is seeking friendly and reliable coaches to teach beginner-level tennis to children in Grades K–3 at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Training, lesson plans, and equipment are provided. Classes generally last 1–1.5 hours and may start between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Two or more days per week are preferred; the posting lists approximately 2–5 hours weekly. Coaches manage groups of 8–10 children in after-school programs and up to 8 students in clinics. The role is part-time and in person.

Requirements

Must be 19 years or older.
Enjoy working with children.
Be reliable, positive, and willing to learn.
Have good communication and classroom management skills.
Have reliable transportation.
Be able to complete a background check and meet vaccination requirements.
Be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Tennis playing or coaching experience is preferred.
USPTA/PTR certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Teach fun and engaging tennis lessons.
Set up equipment and take attendance.
Keep classes safe, active, and enjoyable.
Communicate with parents and school staff.
